1.  What will I need for class?
   
     You will need to wear comfortable clothes, something to drink, a towel, handwraps, and gloves. 

2. Do I have to get hit to participate?

    No. Our fitness programs are non contact and safe. The only thing that you hit are bags and mitts. Sparring and sparring drills only take place in our advanced competition program.

3.Is this cardio boxing , or am I really
    learning   how to box?

    This is not a cardio boxing or kickboxing program like Tae Bo. You will be really learning how to box and kickbox. You will go through the same training as amateur and professional kickboxers.

4. Can I just train with the competition program if I have no experience, but I want to compete someday?

     No. Everyone with no experience in training  must begin in the fitness camp. That is where you will learn the fundamentals that will be built to eventually train in the competition program. The advanced program is through invite only. You must be assessed by one of the coaches in the gym and be approved by the coaching staff before moving on to the advanced competition program.


5. Where do I get equipment for the program?

    You can get equipment at the local fitness store, or order equipment online at Title Boxing, Ringside, or Everlast. 

6. Will I lose weight?

    If you participate whole heartedly, and train regularly (2 - 3 days per week.), and have no underlying medical conditions you will lose weight. However, you must supplement your training with a solid nutrition plan to maximize results. Many people feel that they can eat whatever they want, abuse their bodies with excessive eating, excessive alcohol,and infrequent training and expect to get results. This will only be counter productive to your training. It is like skipping oil changes, and proper maintenance on your car and expecting it run correctly. The workout is the catalyst that gets everything going.

8. Do you have an MMA program?

   We focus on one aspect of MMA, STAND UP. We offer a program specifically for mma competitors to improve their stand up. For more information, see our sub page Striking 101. 


 











Boxing and kickboxing are great for burning calories, losing fat, and replacing it with lean muscle. It provides a core training workout that helps to strengthen the stomach, hips, butt, and thighs. 

Boxing and kickboxing are  fantastic cross-training workouts. Most sports require a strong core and a lot of conditioning for participants to succeed. Boxing and kickboxing adresses this issue completely.Boxing and kickboxing will build core strength and agility faster than any other program.
