Team Sockwell
Team Sockwell is a team designed around the development of professional boxer Robert "RJ" Sockwell. Robert is twenty two years old. Robert was born in Queens, New York. He began boxing at the age of 8. Robert has trained in some of the best boxing gyms in New York. Robert began his amateur boxing career in New York.
Amateur Boxing in Pennsylvania
Robert continued his amateur career in Pennsylvania, training out of the Jesse Harris Boxing Gym in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Robert was trained by Jesse Harris and Sean Diggs. During his amateur career in Pennsylvania, Robert quickly earned the nickname "Mr. Untouchable." Robert earned the reputation of being a prolific exciting fighter. Close to 1,000 people came to see Robert perform at an amateur event. This is a number that rivals some professional boxers!
Robert won several amateur boxing titles in the state of Pennsylvania. He also received constant media attention from the Pocono Record, and local news stations. Robert was also featured on major billboards for amateur boxing events.
Professional Career
Robert is now an up and coming professional boxer. Robert began his career in Arizona. After his first fight, Robert reunited with one of his trainers Sean Diggs from his amateur days. Upon reuniting Robert went on to win his next two fights by ko. These two bouts were televised on a local television station in Arizona. Since then, Robert has relocated to NEPA. Robert has also reunited with trainers Jesse "Pop" Harris and Don Saxby.Now with his training team complete Robert is now poised for his journey to win a world title.
Modeling
